Geert Maertens

Geert Maertens is currently an advisor at Duke Street Bio. Prior to that, they worked as a senior science and business advisor at DDL Diagnostic Laboratory. Geert has a strong background in the molecular diagnostics field and has been working in this area for many years. Geert is originally from the Netherlands and has a long history of collaborating with leading clinical laboratories at medical centers. Geert is a highly skilled and experienced professional who is always looking for ways to add value to or accelerate the diagnostic testing and development process.

Geert Maertens has a PhD in Influenza virus vaccines from Ghent University where they earned Greatest Distinction. Geert also has a Masters in Biology from Ghent University. For their WA, they studied Maths at OLVA Brugge (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwecollege Assebroek).
