Sravya Yellapragada is a researcher at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, focusing on the impact of economic shocks on political representation of various caste groups in India. Additionally, Sravya serves as a Woodman Scholar at Duke University, where econometric models and machine learning techniques are employed to analyze over 500 survey responses related to controversial college topics. Previous experience includes a branding strategy externship at Beats by Dre, where qualitative consumer preferences were analyzed, and a wealth management internship at The Tranel Financial Group, focusing on financial data analysis for client needs. Duke Student Government (DSG) is the official governing body of undergraduate students at Duke. DSG acts as the principal liaison between students and the Duke administration and oversees the funding and approval of student organizations on campus. DSG represents the student voice at Duke, lobbying for policies and programs that better the undergraduate experience. DSG has a long history of success in both on campus student ventures, as well as beyond.
