Joel Luber

Joel T. Luber is an experienced publishing professional currently serving as Assistant Managing Editor at Duke University Press since September 2013. Previously, Joel held the position of Managing Editor at Allen Press, Inc., where management of the production editorial process for approximately 17 academic journals was a key responsibility. Joel also has a strong background in peer review management for scholarly journals in both the sciences and social sciences, along with experience in proofreading and automation of editorial processes. Earlier roles include serving as an Editorial and Production Assistant for the American Studies journal at the University of Kansas. Joel holds a Master of Arts in American Studies and dual Bachelor's degrees in Theatre & Film and Linguistics from the University of Kansas.
