Ariana Vaida

Ariana Vaida is a dedicated Community Resource Navigator at Duke University, where responsibilities include fostering a welcoming environment for incoming freshmen. As a Youth Representative for UNICEF USA, Ariana has led outreach initiatives and authored a narrative on climate action for World Children's Day. With experience as a Research Assistant at the Duke Cancer Institute, Ariana studies cancer molecular biology and health disparities. Additionally, Ariana has served as Club President and Founder at the Duke UNICEF Club, raising significant funds for humanitarian aid and organizing impactful community projects. Previous roles include a Research Intern at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a Changed By Youth Ambassador with the City of Durham, focusing on youth engagement and advocacy. Ariana is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Global Health at Duke University, having graduated summa cum laude from Hillside High School.
