Deb Reisinger

Deb Reisinger serves as the Interim Dean of Academic Affairs and Professor of the Practice of French at Duke University, with a focus on French for Professional Purposes and Refugee Studies. Reisinger oversees various academic initiatives, including the Cultures and Languages Across the Curriculum program and the Duke/UVA/Vanderbilt Partnership for Less Commonly Taught Languages. Additionally, Reisinger has directed multiple summer immersion programs in France and Montreal. Involved with the College Board, Reisinger chairs the World Languages Academic Advisory Committee and contributes to the AP French Language and Culture Development Committee. Academic credentials include a PhD in French Literature from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and advanced studies in Cultural Studies.
