Trudy Oliver

Trudy Oliver is a Professor of Pharmacology & Cancer Biology at Duke University and an Adjunct Professor at the University of Utah, where also served as Co-Leader for the CCSG Program "Cell Response and Regulation" and the Lung Cancer Disease Center from 2017 to 2022. Previous experience includes serving as an Investigator in the Department of Oncological Sciences at the Huntsman Cancer Institute from 2011 to July 2022 and conducting postdoctoral research at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2011, focusing on chemotherapy resistance in lung cancer. Earlier, Trudy Oliver held a postdoctoral associate position at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, investigating mitotic checkpoint proteins, and completed a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology at Duke University after earning a BS in Chemistry from Oklahoma Baptist University.
