David Goodhew is Head of Latymer Upper School and a member of the Headmasters’ and Headmistresses’ Conference.
Born in West London, David studied Classics at the University of Oxford. During his teaching career, David taught Classics at Eton College and Bancroft’s School; he became Head of Classics at Bristol Grammar School in 2000. David gained significant experience in senior management as Director of Studies at Arnold School from 2005. In 2008, he became Senior Deputy Head at Durham School. David took up his current position as the Head of Latymer Upper School in 2012, where he works to ensure every child has an educational experience that will change their lives. In 2018 Latymer was named “Senior School of the Year” and “Independent School of the Year” by the Times Educational Supplement.
