Hugh Blaxill

Hugh Blaxill is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as General Manager and Head of Engineering at Dumarey Group since March 2025. Previously at MAHLE since July 2010, Blaxill held roles including Head of Engineering and General Manager, overseeing the consultancy division MAHLE Powertrain LLC in North America. Prior to that, Blaxill served as Special Projects Director at MAHLE Powertrain from November 2008 to July 2010, focusing on strategic initiatives and government-funded projects. From January 2001 to November 2008, Blaxill was Chief Engineer, R&D at Mahle Powertrain Ltd, managing a team of 30 engineers on diverse projects. Earlier experience includes positions as Senior Principal Engineer at Cosworth Technology and Senior Engineer at Ricardo. Blaxill holds an MPhil in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath, where studies occurred from 1988 to 1993.
