Andy Wharton is an experienced mining professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as Project Superintendent at Dumas Contracting Ltd since February 2010, Andy has held various roles including mine captain and jumbo leader/spare shift boss. Prior experience includes positions as Miner 1 at Lakeshore Gold and JS Redpath Limited, as well as Miner/Shift boss at Dumas Contracting Ltd. Andy's career began at Placer Dome in 1988 as Miner 1, with further roles in jumbo operations at St Andrew Goldfields Ltd. and JS Redpath Limited. Andy’s educational background includes attendance at the University of Waterloo from 1986 to 1988.
