Alma Trujillo has over a decade of experience in administrative and advocacy roles, currently serving as the Special Services Administrative Assistant for Dumas Independent School District since August 2014 and as the Special Education Secretary since August 2013. Previously, Alma worked as a Case Manager and Legal Advocate at Safe Place, Inc. from January 2010 to August 2013, focusing on support for sexual assault and domestic violence clients. Alma also served as a Community Service Assistant at WIC-Women, Infant, and Children from April 2006 to December 2009, where responsibilities included teaching nutrition classes and monitoring children's health. Alma holds a High School Diploma from Coaling-Huron Unified School District and a Correctional Officer Certification in Criminal Justice and Corrections from West Hills College Coalinga.
