Nancy Bhatia

Nancy Bhatia is an experienced plant biotechnologist and associate breeder specializing in cut chrysanthemums, currently working at Dümmen Orange since March 2023. Previously, Nancy served as a plant biotechnologist at Lab Associates B.V. from February 2021 to January 2023, where responsibilities included tissue culture, protocol development, research consultation, and scientific communication. A data analyst intern at xarvio™ focused on data analysis for rice research projects in India and China, managing stakeholder communications for project implementation. Nancy's academic background includes a Master's degree in Crop Sciences from the University of Hohenheim, with a specialization in plant breeding and seed science, and a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. Additional experience includes managing experimental fields during a student research assistant role and training in banana tissue culture as an undergraduate research assistant.
