Tim Solms

Tim Solms is the General Manager of Government Solutions at Dun & Bradstreet, a leading global provider of business decisioning data and analytics. In this role, Tim manages Dun & Bradstreet’s services and solutions for its government customers.

Tim brings more than 30 years of progressive leadership experience in both the military and private sector. Most recently, he was Vice President and General Manager of US Public Sector at Cloudera. Prior to that, Tim was Forcepoint’s Senior Vice President and General Manager of Global Governments and President, Federal LLC, where he was responsible for the P&L and growth strategy for the Global Governments business.

Tim is also Co-Founder of WildRock Security Group, a 100% veteran-owned small business that works with private equity and venture capital firms and companies focused on go-to-market strategy development, organizational efficiencies, and mergers and acquisitions within the public sector.

Earlier in his career, Tim was Vice President, Federal, and Managing Director, Worldwide Government, at Juniper Networks, where he held senior leadership responsibility for the company’s Worldwide Government business. Before joining Juniper, Tim was the General Manager, US Department of Defense, at Microsoft Corp. and Senior Director, DoD, NATO, and Federal international, at VMware. Tim also held a series of government market–focused leadership roles at Dell.

He spent more than 18 years with the US Army and served in various leadership roles at AFCEA’s D.C. Chapter, including a stint as President.

Tim earned his bachelor’s degree in administration from The Citadel.
