Asa Sowards

Asa Sowards possesses extensive experience in aviation maintenance, currently serving as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic at Duncan Aviation since June 2019. Prior to this role, Asa served as an Avionics Technician in the US Army from May 2013 to November 2017, where skills in diagnosing and repairing complex aircraft systems were honed, particularly for Blackhawk and Chinook helicopters. Responsibilities included maintaining detailed documentation, managing high-value equipment, and operating ground support equipment. Asa holds a degree in Avionics Maintenance Technology from Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, complemented by prior experience in custodial responsibilities at Barstow Free Methodist Church.
