Kristen Beneduce

Kristen Beneduce is a dynamic CISO and leader in AI security and data engineering, who currently serves as Head of Security at January and as an Advisory Board Member at Dune Security. A founder of the WiCyS Silicon Valley Affiliate, they have a rich background in cybersecurity including roles at Sandia National Laboratories and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco. With a strong academic foundation, Kristen holds a Master's degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Assurance from the Naval Postgraduate School, alongside various certifications in Information Systems and Data Science. They actively contribute to multiple professional organizations and continue to advise cybersecurity and AI startups.
