Matthew Montgomerie

Matthew Montgomerie currently serves as an OD Project Advisor at Dunedin City Council since November 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew was the Manager at Predator Free Dunedin from November 2020 to July 2023 and worked as a Volunteer Operational Firefighter at New Zealand Fire Service from July 2016 to November 2020. Additional experience includes serving as the Biosecurity Team Leader for Kauri Dieback at Auckland Council, a Recruitment Consultant at Restaurant Brands Ltd, and a Recruiter at Menzies Aviation. Matthew also held the position of Project Administrator for the Waterview Tunnel Project at McConnell Dowell, Management Assistant at Auckland Zoo, Snowmaker at Ruapehu Alpine Lifts, and Administrator at Auckland Council. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Otago, completed in 2006.
