Steve Walker

Steve Walker, JP has a diverse range of experience in community service and leadership roles, currently serving as a Trustee for Predator Free Dunedin and the Wildlife Hospital Dunedin since February 2024 and February 2018, respectively. As a Councillor for the Dunedin City Council since October 2019, Steve is actively involved in local governance. Prior to this, Steve held the position of Chairperson for the West Harbour Community Board from October 2007 to October 2019, overseeing community activities and initiatives. Steve also has a background in sales and marketing, having worked as the Sales & Marketing Director for Goldcroft from 1988 to 1994. Steve holds a BA (Hons) in Third World Development Studies from the University of East London, earned between 1996 and 1998.
