David Abner

David Abner has worked for three companies in the past decade. In 2017 they began working for Dunhill Staffing Systems as Vice President and Technical Recruiter. From 2011 to 2017 they worked for MERS/Goodwill as Employment Services Manager and Employment Specialist/Employment Counselor. In 2010 they worked for the State of Missouri- Office of Administration as a Youth Specialist. In this role they provided counseling services to juveniles court mandated to a high security rehabilitation facility, recorded cognitive and behavioral changes in clients, and mentored clients during the preparation of the general equivalency diploma test. At MERS/Goodwill they provided employment counseling for individuals with disabilities, created informational guides that were shared company-wide, and facilitated group counseling sessions that focused on improved social norms and employment readiness.

David Abner attended Western Illinois University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration. David then attended Missouri Baptist University from 2012 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Arts in Counseling.
