Sherrita Ellis Ms

Sherrita Ellis, MS, PHR has a rich and extensive work experience spanning over many years and industries. Sherrita is currently serving as the Human Resources Director at Dunlop Protective Footwear since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Strategic HR Business Partner at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory from May 2022 to January 2023. Sherrita also worked at GAF as a Human Resources Business Partner from November 2016 to May 2022. Before that, they held various roles at W.R. Grace, including Sr. HR Generalist from June 2006 to November 2016 and Human Resources Generalist from July 2012 to June 2014. Sherrita started their career as a Marketing Communications Specialist at Gene Logic from October 2004 to June 2006. Earlier in their career, they served as an HR Administrator at Aiken Housing Authority from September 2001 to May 2003 and as an HR Coordinator at Amerix from January 1995 to December 2000.

Sherrita Ellis, MS, PHR, holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the University of Maryland Global Campus, which they completed from 2012 to 2014. Prior to this, they attended the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2010, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. In addition to their degrees, Sherrita has also obtained various certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Sherrita received the Employee Relations & Investigations certification from Cornell University in October 2021 and became a Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certified by the HR Certification Institute-HRCI in June 2015.
