Bongani Ntombela

Bongani Ntombela is a skilled professional with extensive experience in the manufacturing and rubber industries. Currently serving as the Production Head at Bata South Africa (Pty) Ltd since February 2016, Bongani manages a Polyurethane department comprising 75 employees and oversees planning and coordination of departmental activities to meet company goals. Prior to this role, Bongani worked as a Process Technician at Apollo Tyres South Africa (Pty) Ltd, where contributions included developing practical tyre specifications and designing appropriate tyre components. Additional experience includes positions as a Quality Inspector and Chemist at Futura Footwear (Bata) between June 2013 and September 2016, overseeing laboratory management and process updates. Bongani holds a National Diploma in Plastics and Rubber from Technikon Pretoria and a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering from Mangosuthu Technikon.
