Elina Qvist

Elina Qvist has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Elina most recently worked at Dunning, Kruger & Associates (DK&A) / NoA as a Senior Designer in service design and UX, design thinking, and business design. Prior to that, they held positions at Bitfactor Oy as a Senior Designer, where they were responsible for delivering customer projects in business design, service design, and user experience design. Elina also worked as a UX Design Consultant at OP Financial Group and gained experience as a Sales Intern at FilmMe Group Oy. Additionally, Elina had a marketing and sales intern role at Safety Licenses ltd. Elina started their career at Nokia as a Senior UX Designer, working on S60 application UI design and user experience design. Elina later transitioned to the role of User Interface Designer, focusing on designing and creating the design system for the Nokia Serious 40 platform. Elina also has experience as a Project Manager and Researcher at the University of Oulu, where they worked on environment, health, and safety management projects. Elina started their professional journey as an M.Sc. thesis worker at Ruukki. Throughout their career, Elina has developed skills in various areas including service design, UX design, business design, marketing, sales, and project management.

Elina Qvist obtained their M.Sc in Process Engineering with a specialization in Ergonomics and Safety from the University of Oulu from 1998 to 2003. In 2012, they attended the University of Lapland and received a degree in Service Design or Palvelumuotoilija. In 2013 to 2014, Elina pursued professional specialization studies in Digital Marketing, earning 30 credits from Oulu University of Applied Sciences. Later in 2014 to 2015, they attended OAKK/AMIEDU and obtained a Specialist Qualification in Foreign Trade and International Marketing. Most recently, from 2019 to 2022, Elina studied at Oulu University of Applied Sciences and obtained a degree in Professional Teacher in Teacher Education and Professional Development. Elina also acquired the certification "Tekniikan akateemiset TEKin mentorointiohjelma 2021-2022" from Howspace in March 2022.
