Katja Karhia has a diverse work experience. Katja started their career as a Project Researcher at Tampere University of Technology, where they conducted research on growth venturing and knowledge investing. Katja then joined IBM, where they held various positions, including Business Transformation Consultant, Marketing Manager, and Cloud Computing Marketing Manager. At IBM, they were responsible for marketing strategy, campaign planning and execution, and business development of cloud computing services. Katja later worked at Cresense as an Account Manager, helping clients implement user-centric service strategies. Katja then joined Siili Solutions as a Customer Experience Manager and later became the Head of Industry Business Unit. In these roles, they contributed to the digitalization journey of Siili and developed the company's culture and values. Currently, they are the Sales & Marketing Director, Partner at DK&A / NoA, where they are responsible for heading sales, marketing, and client relationships. Katja is also a member of the leadership team. Overall, Katja has extensive experience in sales, marketing, customer experience, and business development.

Katja Karhia completed their high school education at Kalevan lukio, graduating in 1999. Katja then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and Strategy, as well as Information Technology, Information and Knowledge Management, at Tampere University of Technology from 2000 to 2007. Simultaneously, they also studied Economics, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, and Statistics at the University of Tampere, obtaining a Master's degree in Science between 2001 and 2005.
