Alexa Fernández

Alexa Fernández has a diverse work experience in various industries. Alexa started their career as an intern at BFA in 2017 and later worked as a Legal Assistant at Herbst and Associates. Alexa then interned at City Parks Foundation and served as an Admin Assistant at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. In 2018, they had roles as a Production Intern at NBCUniversal Media, LLC and as a Freelance Audio Assistant at Bloomberg LP. Alexa also worked as a Festival Assistant at the New York Television Festival. From 2018 to 2019, Alexa worked at Netflix, first as a Production Coordinator for "Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj" and later as an Executive Assistant for the same show. From 2019 to 2021, they worked as a Coordinator of Digital Production at Sesame Workshop. Alexa'smost recent role is at Duolingo, where they started in 2021 as a Creative Producer and later became a Senior Creative Producer.

Alexa Fernández attended Fordham University, where they studied Communication and Media Studies as well as Visual and Performing Arts. Alexa completed their education at the university in 2018.
