Isabel Romea

Isabel Romea has a diverse work experience history. Isabel started as a Tutor at Chester Eastside in October 2020 and worked there until September 2021.

In June 2021, they worked as a Summer Admissions Intern at Swarthmore College.

In February 2022, they became President of Swarthmore Tech for Social Good.

Isabel also had multiple roles at Swarthmore College, which include Research Assistant, Multimedia Specialist, Student, Security and Privacy Teaching Assistant, Data Structures and Algorithms Teaching Assistant, and Lego Robotics Curriculum Critical Appraisal.

Isabel also worked as a VC Scout at GenZScouts from March 2022 to May 2022.

In June 2022, they worked as a Thrive Software Engineering Intern at Duolingo.

Isabel then continued their journey with Duolingo as a Software Engineer Intern, starting in May 2023 and currently holding the position.

Isabel Romea attended Haddonfield Memorial High School from 2016 to 2020. Isabel then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Swarthmore College from 2020 to 2024. In 2023, they also studied abroad at DIS in the field of Computer Science.
