Luka V.

Luka V. has a diverse work experience, starting in 2019 as a Summer Undergraduate Researcher at Caltech, where they analyzed educational outcomes in California. In 2020, Luka worked as a Software Engineer Intern at United Launch Alliance, designing and building a web-based tool portfolio. They also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Caltech, assisting students in software engineering and computing systems courses. Luka joined Tesla in 2021 as a Firmware Integration Intern, where they redesigned tester architecture and improved automated tests. Since 2018, Luka has been involved with Caltech Racing (Formula SAE Electric) in various roles, including Electrical Technical Lead, Low Voltage Battery Management System Lead, and Low Voltage Battery and Cabling Lead. During this time, they designed and implemented innovative solutions to address noise issues, reduce battery size, and integrate electrical subsystems. Currently, Luka is working as a Software Engineer at Duolingo, starting in 2022.

Luka V. completed their high school education at Grapevine High School from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a High School Diploma. They then pursued further studies in Computer Science and attended Caltech from 2018 to 2022, earning a Bachelor's degree in the field.
