Michael Lynas

Michael Lynas currently serves as the UK Country Director at Duolingo, focusing on the growth of the Duolingo English Test through AI innovations. In addition, Lynas holds the role of Senior Policy Fellow at Giant Ventures, providing advisory support on public policy and regulatory affairs. As a Board Trustee for City Year UK and The John Browne Charitable Trust, Lynas contributes to public policy engagement and supports underrepresented groups in various fields. Previously, Lynas has held significant positions including VP of Strategic Initiatives at INTO University Partnerships, Founder and CEO of the National Citizen Service, and Senior Policy Advisor at 10 Downing Street. An alumnus of Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Cambridge, Lynas has extensive experience in policy development and consulting throughout a diverse career.
