Sophie McGrady

Sophie McGrady is an Associate Creative Technologist at Duolingo since January 2024, having previously served as an Academic Coach at Carnegie Mellon University from August 2021 to December 2023. Sophie's experience includes an internship as an Animation TD Intern at Duolingo and a Software Engineer Intern position at SightLogix, where tools were modified to support machine learning on raw thermal images using Python. Additional roles include Research Intern at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at Carnegie Mellon University and ScanaTemp, and teaching technology camps as a Tech Instructor at Lavner Education.
