Jennifer Steele

Environmental Health Specialist at DuPage County Health Department

Jennifer Steele has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jennifer started their career as a Dietary Aide at Country View Assisted Living in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Cashier at Genoa Italian Concession before transitioning to the role of Health and Wellness Coordinator Intern at the Village of Villa Park. During this time, they also served as a Nutrition Consultant and Early Childhood Staff member. In 2016, Jennifer joined the DuPage County Health Department as an Environmental Health Specialist, a role they held until 2017. Jennifer then joined Home Chef as a Food Safety Specialist for a few months before returning to the DuPage County Health Department in the same role in 2018.

Jennifer Steele earned their Master's degree in Public Health from Benedictine University, which they attended from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Dietetics and Clinical Nutrition Services at Western Illinois University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.
