Julie Sandine

Julie Sandine has a diverse work experience spanning over 21 years. Julie is currently serving as a Forensic Behavioral Health Therapist at the DuPage County Health Department since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Recovery Support Specialist at Recovery Centers of America from August 2020 to November 2021.

Julie also has experience as a Head Residential Case Manager at Ecker Center for Behavioral Health, where they facilitated the treatment planning process, managed workflow, and maintained necessary documentation from September 2006 to August 2011.

Before that, they worked as an Administrative Assistant at Proex Carlisle, overseeing daily office operations and managing personnel from February 2001 to February 2003. Additionally, they have experience as a Teaching Assistant at All About Children, where they supervised toddlers, created lesson plans, and stimulated children's learning from March 2000 to February 2001.

Julie Sandine holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from Northern Illinois University. Julie further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Forensic Psychology from Grand Canyon University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Julie also holds various certifications. Julie obtained the Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) certification from the Zero Suicide Institute in March 2022. Julie also obtained the Motivational Interviewing certification from the DuPage County Health Department in the same month and year. Prior to that, they obtained the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute in November 2021. Julie also holds a CPR & AED certification obtained from the National CPR Foundation in October 2021.
