Michele M. P. has a diverse work experience in the field of library services and community programs. Michele M. started their career as a Shelving Clerk at the Glen Ellyn Public Library in 2008. Michele M. then pursued a College of DuPage Library Practicum at the Geneva Public Library District in 2009. Following this, they worked as a Program Coordinator at the Helen M. Plum Memorial Library District from 2010 to 2015, where they organized various programs and collaborated with local organizations.

In 2015, Michele joined the DuPage County Health Department as a Staff Development Specialist, Quality and Compliance. Michele M.'sresponsibilities included coordinating workforce development classes, analyzing staff training needs, ensuring staff compliance, and tracking training documentation to meet health care provider standards.

Currently, Michele is working as a Circulation Associate at the St. Charles Public Library District, where they provide a range of library services to patrons, including registration, material location, checkout and holds, and event registration.

Michele M. P. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Leadership & Communication from Elmhurst University, which was completed between 2013 and 2015. Prior to that, they earned an A.A.S. Degree in Library and Information Technology, Honors from the College of DuPage, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. Michele also pursued a Liberal Arts program at Northeastern Illinois University from 1998 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained a Direct Marketing Certificate from DePaul Driehaus College of Business, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.

Michele M. P. has also achieved a certification in Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Behavioral Health in February 2021.
