Diane Michalak

Assistant State's Attorney at DuPage County

Diane Michalak is an experienced legal professional and educator currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Wheaton College since September 2015, where Diane teaches and coaches Intercollegiate Trial Advocacy. Diane has been with DuPage County as an Assistant State's Attorney since December 2003, prosecuting various criminal cases and contributing to the development of procedural training manuals. Previously, Diane gained valuable experience as a Law Clerk in the High Tech Crimes Bureau of the Illinois Attorney General's Office, where Diane drafted electronic communications legislation and conducted legal research. Diane's career began in customer support at hey! Inc., where contract reviews and technical assistance were provided. Diane holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from Chicago-Kent College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Iowa.
