Donald Hoscheit

Dr. Donald Hoscheit is a board-certified gastroenterologist and the chief medical officer of DuPage Medical Group (DMG). In his role as chief medical officer, he oversees physician performance and empowers physicians to ensure they have the support needed to drive positive results for their patients and the organization.

He has been in practice at DMG for more than 30 years and has since held many leadership roles within and outside the organization. In addition to serving as chief medical officer, he serves as a member of the DMG Board of Directors and as a leader on several of DMG’s internal committees. He also serves on the Physician’s Leadership Council and Credentials Committee at Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital and the finance committee at his church.

Dr. Hoscheit also continues to practice gastroenterology full-time, specializing in diseases and disorders of the digestive tract, endoscopic surgery, colon cancer detection and screening, colitis, Crohn's disease and peptic ulcer disease.

He earned his medical degree from the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and completed his internship, residency in internal medicine and fellowship training in clinical gastroenterology at the Loyola University Medical Center. He is a fellow of both the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.
