Linda A Shay

Linda A Shay has extensive experience in educational leadership and professional learning design, having held key positions at various educational institutions. Currently, at the DuPage Regional Office of Education since 2022, Linda focuses on the professional development of principals and principal coaches as part of a state-wide initiative. Prior experience includes a role at Illinois State University Center for the Study of Education Policy, where Linda developed instructional materials based on research for school leaders in diverse community settings. Linda's background also encompasses significant contributions to the Illinois State Board of Education's System of Support and the Chicago Public Schools, where initiatives aimed at improving teaching conditions and supporting new schools in under-resourced areas were implemented. Linda holds degrees from Ball State University, Indiana University Northwest, and Purdue University.
