Esat Birgen

Esat Birgen has extensive work experience in various roles within the food and beverages industry and consulting sector. Esat is currently employed as the Market Leader for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland at dss+, where they are responsible for leading the Food & Beverages Industry in Europe. Prior to this role, they held the same position at DuPont Sustainable Solutions from October 2018 to February 2022.

Before joining DuPont Sustainable Solutions, Esat worked at the same company in different roles. Esat served as the Key Account Leader from April 2012 to September 2018 and as a Senior Consultant from May 2008 to March 2012.

Esat's earlier experience includes working as a Project Manager at PEM Consult from January 2006 to March 2008 and as a Manager and Consultant at Accenture from May 2002 to December 2005 and May 1998 to April 2002, respectively.

Esat Birgen completed their Master's degree in Economics from the University of Cologne, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In 1994, they pursued a CEMS Master program in International Business at Esade, where they completed a one-year course.
