Julie Dixon has a diverse work experience spanning several positions in different companies. Julie began their career in 1984 as an Administrative Assistant at Delaware Curative Workshop, where they stayed for a year before transitioning to the Administrative Assistant role at the New Castle County Government - Prothonotary's Office from 1985 to 1987. Following this, Julie joined DuPont in 1987 as an Office Administrator, where they worked until 1997. During their time at DuPont, they held various roles, including Industrial Security Administrator from 1998 to 2008 and Communication Specialist from 2008 to 2012. Finally, Julie joined dss+ in 2012 as a Delivery Planner, where their employment is ongoing.

Julie Dixon attended Delcastle Technical High School from 1980 to 1984, where they studied Medical Secretary as their field of study. Julie did not obtain a degree during this time. Additionally, Julie has a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from DuPont, but it is unclear when they obtained it.
