Mandla Maswanganyi

Mandla Maswanganyi has a diverse work experience starting with their role as an Analyst at dss+ in 2023. They then moved on to Deloitte, where they worked as an Analyst - ESG Assurance and Reporting. In this role, they assisted in assuring greenhouse gas emissions for a mining explosives and specialty chemical company, and also served as the lead auditor for assuring non-financial KPIs for a medical aid scheme. Prior to that, Mandla worked at Hatch as a Junior Process Engineer in Industrial Clean Technology, where they played a key role in a successful proposal and subsequent project execution for an assessment of sulfuric acid plants for a nickel and cobalt mining company in Madagascar. They traveled to Madagascar for on-site inspections during a plant shutdown.

Mandla Maswanganyi's education history begins with their time at Orlando Secondary School from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a National Senior Certificate. During this period, their field of study focused on Mathematics and Science.

Mandla then pursued further education at the University of the Witwatersrand from 2017 to 2020. Here, they pursued a BSc (Hons) in Engineering (Chemical), specializing in Chemical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Mandla has also obtained several certifications. In October 2021, they completed the "Learning Excel: Data Analysis" course offered by LinkedIn. Mandla has also completed courses titled "PowerPoint: Eight Easy Ways to Make Your Presentation Stand Out" and "Speaking Confidently and Effectively" through the same platform.
