Silvia Szep is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology leadership and intellectual property management. Currently serving as Global Technology Leader for Electronics & Industrials at DuPont since March 2018, Silvia directs a cross-functional team focused on strategic IP management and innovation, while also leading corporate ethics and compliance efforts. Previously, as M&A and Intellectual Capital Leader at DuPont, Silvia was instrumental in aligning intellectual property during the DowDuPont merger, enhancing asset value and competitive advantage. Prior roles include Intellectual Capital Manager at Dow, where Silvia improved business performance through strategic R&D investments, and earlier positions as Senior Technical Analyst and Research Consultant. Silvia holds a PhD in Chemistry and Biophysics from Yale University and is pursuing a Graduate Degree in Management at Harvard University, with a BA in Chemistry from Swarthmore College.
