Brian Guzek

Brian Guzek serves as Vice President, Corporate Strategy, where he leads Duquesne Light Company’s plan in innovation and affordability, including grid modernization, expansion of electric vehicles, and bringing new technology to serve customers and communities in DLC’s service territory. Guzek joined DLC in 2017 as Director and Chief Procurement Officer, later becoming Managing Director of Customer Transportation and then Managing Director of Affordability and Innovation Management. Prior to joining DLC, he held previous roles at U.S Steel, including Director of Transformation. An engineer by trade, Guzek received both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where he also played football.
