Christine Waller

VP, Communications & Corporate Responsibility at Duquesne Light Company

Christine Waller joined Duquesne Light Company (DLC) in December 2021 as the vice president of communications; environmental, social and governance (ESG); and corporate giving. She is responsible for leading the company’s sustainability- and community-focused communication and outreach strategy. Before joining DLC, Waller was the head of corporate social responsibility (CSR) at Viatris, a multi-billion-dollar, Pittsburgh-area pharmaceutical company. In this role, she launched the company’s CSR strategy and oversaw ESG, corporate giving and community and stakeholder outreach. Prior to that, Waller led global communications at Mylan while the company merged with a branch of Pfizer to form Viatris. A Pittsburgh native, Waller has both a bachelor’s degree in English and communication and a master’s in public and international affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. She is also fluent in Spanish and spent several years as a national news correspondent for a leading broadcast network in Mexico. Waller lives in the South Hills of Pittsburgh with her husband and their two children.
