Dan Farrah

Dan Farrah currently serves as the Chief Information Officer at Duquesne Light Company, a position held since December 2023. Prior to this role, Dan held multiple senior leadership positions at Optum, including Vice President of Technology Strategy, Architecture, & Innovation for Optum Health, and Chief Information Officer for Optum Everycare & MedExpress. Dan's expertise encompasses IT strategy, EMR, digital health, and IT infrastructure. Dan also served as Vice President of IT Infrastructure, Operations, & Technology at MedExpress, where the focus was on technology infrastructure management. Earlier experience includes a long tenure at ATI - Allegheny Technologies Incorporated, culminating as Senior Director of Information Technology. Dan's career began in the US Army as a Signal Officer. Dan holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh, respectively.
