Josh Gould

Josh Gould has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Josh is currently working at Duquesne Light Company as the Director of Strategic Planning and Innovation since April 2023, after serving as the Director of Innovation and Strategic Planning (Interim) from July 2022 to April 2023 and as the Director of Innovation from November 2019 to July 2022. Josh has also worked as a Limited Partner at Climate Capital since March 2023. In addition, Josh has been an Innovation Leadership Executive Council Member at The Conference Board since January 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Con Edison as part of the Utility of the Future: Innovation Hub from November 2015 to November 2019. Josh has also gained experience at organizations such as the Advanced Research Projects Agency—Energy (ARPA-E) from April 2012 to November 2015, Cleantech Group from December 2011 to April 2012, Gould Energy Storage, Inc. as the Founder and President from June 2009 to July 2010, Innosight Ventures as an Associate from May 2008 to January 2009, Deloitte Consulting as a Consultant from August 2003 to July 2007, and Finca Peru Exports as the Co-Founder and Director of Business Development from February 2006 to June 2007.

Josh Gould holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Entrepreneurship and Finance from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth. Josh also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Claremont McKenna College. In addition, they completed the Distribution System Engineering Certificate Program in Electrical Engineering from Siemens Power Academy. Josh has obtained various certifications, including being a Certified Facilitator and Certified Practitioner in Human-Centered Design from LUMA Institute, as well as an Innovation Practitioner certification from GIANT Innovation. Josh also holds a Distribution System Engineering Certificate from Siemens.
