Adam Salem has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Adam began their career as a Receptionist at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in 2005. Adam then worked as a Sales Section Manager at Abudawood Distribution Co for a brief period before transitioning to a Trainer & Installer role at Advanced Computer Technology from 2007 to 2009.

In 2010, Adam joined Semiramis InterContinental Cairo as an Assistant Sales Manager, focusing on Groups and Conferences. Adam later moved to Fairmont Nile City, where they held various roles including Assistant Sales Manager and Assistant Manager for Conference Services & Catering.

Adam's career in the hospitality industry continued as they joined Fairmont Nile City in 2011 as a Digital Marketing Manager, responsible for developing and executing the annual E-Marketing plan. Adam then took on the role of Manager for Conference Services & Catering. In 2012, they became the Manager of Sales - Groups, managing key accounts and prospecting for new business.

After their time at Fairmont Nile City, Adam joined Kempinski Hotels as a Web & Ecommerce Manager. Their responsibilities included managing website content, search engine optimization, and email marketing.

In 2016, Adam joined The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. as an E-commerce Manager. Adam was responsible for managing e-marketing activities, improving search engine optimization, and coordinating various online advertising campaigns.

Adam then moved to Makarem Hotels in 2019, where they held the position of Corporate Ecommerce Manager. Adam was responsible for overseeing the company's e-commerce activities.

Currently, Adam works at Dur Hospitality as a Commercial and Digital Director, a role they have held since October 2021. Their responsibilities include leading the commercial and digital strategies of the company.

Adam Salem attended the High Institute for Tourism and Hotels from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Tourism and Hotels. In addition to their formal education, Adam has also acquired several certifications throughout their career. Adam completed the Hotel Digital Marketing Essentials Program from HSMAI in March 2023. In November 2020, they obtained The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google. In May 2014, they completed the Digital Strategy certification from the Global Innovation Management Institute. Adam also attended the Social Marketing Workshop offered by InterContinental Hotels Group in November 2010, and the Sales Development Program provided by MHA consultants Ltd. in January 2010.
