NIKHILESH PATIDAR, MIET

Nikhilesh Patidar has a diverse range of work experience starting from 2018. NIKHILESH began their career as a Vocational Trainee at NTPC Limited, where they gained knowledge in electrical generators, transformers, and other electrical protection equipment. NIKHILESH then moved on to Kashyap Builders Limited as an Electrical Engineer, focusing on distribution power system operations and maintenance.

In 2020, Nikhilesh worked as a Subject Expert at Chegg Inc., where they demonstrated their expertise in a specific subject area.

In 2021, they joined Temasek Laboratories @ NUS as a Research Assistant, contributing to projects such as the Smart Noise Barrier Project in collaboration with LTA and SMRT. NIKHILESH also worked as a Power System Specialist at Keppel Corporation Limited, where they designed battery energy storage systems for marine vessels and worked on intelligent battery management systems.

More recently, from 2022, Nikhilesh has taken on roles as a Research Associate and Senior Engineer at STAR@NUS, focusing on developing peak power management systems using GaN based power converters and hybrid energy storage for satellite applications.

Currently, they are employed as a Senior System Design Engineer at Durapower Holdings Pte Ltd, where they are involved in designing new battery technology for more efficient operations in harsh environments using NMC battery tech.

NIKHILESH PATIDAR completed their Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore in the years 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology from 2015 to 2019.

In addition to their educational background, NIKHILESH PATIDAR has also obtained several certifications. In May 2023, they received certifications in ISO 14001: 2015 Environmental Management Systems, ISO 45001: 2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor - Quality Certification from Foresight Consulting & Training Pte. Ltd. Furthermore, they became a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) as a Member (MIET) in April 2023. In September 2021, they obtained a certification in Workplace Safety and Health in Shipyard from Vision Global Engineering & Safety Services Pte. Ltd.
