Donald Poer (Billy)

Donald (Billy) Poer has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2014, they served as the Treasurer for the Daniel Moran for Texas HD 63 political campaign. In 2016, they took on the role of a Field Organizer for the Florida Democratic Party and also worked as a Community Organizer for the Denton County Democratic Party. During this time, they interned and served as a Research Assistant for the Office of Congressman Henry Cuellar. In 2017, they worked as a Field Manager for Clean Water Action before becoming a Campaign Manager for Biggan for Congress in 2018. In 2019, they held positions as the Regional Organizing Director and GOTV Deputy Organizing Director for the Warren for President campaign. In 2020, they were the Campaign Manager for Joe Drago for Texas House District 96. Currently, Donald is employed at DuraServ, where they have held various roles including National Accounts Coordinator, National Accounts Proposal Support and Logistics Specialist, and Job Cost Accountant.

Donald (Billy) Poer has a strong educational background in various fields. From 2008 to 2012, they attended Flower Mound High School and obtained a High School Diploma. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree at the University of North Texas from 2012 to 2016. During their time at the university, Donald (Billy) Poer studied Political Science and Government, Economics, and History, earning a Bachelor's degree in each respective field.
