Rodrigo Diaz

Rodrigo Diaz is a seasoned professional in the fields of welding and non-destructive testing (NDT), currently serving as a Sr. Advanced NDE Technician at Nucleom and an Engineering Designer at Duratray International since September and August 2022, respectively. Previously, Rodrigo was a full-time student in the Welding Engineering Technology Program at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology from January 2021 to August 2022. Experience includes positions such as AUT Inspector for the QB2 project with SCI, Servicios de Control e Inspección, Chief Quality Officer at Sociedad Tecnica de Certificacion, and various roles as a Welding Inspector with Bureau Veritas Group, INGECEND, and Delgado Ltda. Rodrigo holds a degree in Welding Engineering Technology from SAIT, as well as degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Bachelor in Engineering Sciences from Universidad de Santiago de Chile, complemented by entrepreneurial training from the University of Waterloo and an Innovation and Entrepreneurship program.
