Gerard Barrull

Gerard Barrull has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Project Engineer and Engineering Trainee at STE ENGIPHARM, S.L. During this time, they were responsible for project management and automatized and standardized the calculation sheets for equipment dimensioning using mainly Excel (VBA). In 2018, they co-founded Yummify and built a holistic data solution for the company from scratch, including data storage (MySQL), KPI Definition, and a dashboard to track metrics. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Glovo as a Sr. Data & Strategy Analyst and Business Analyst - Operations Strategy. Gerard's day-to-day responsibilities included using A/B Testing and alternative methodologies to measure project effectiveness, attribution and ROI, analyzing and presenting key data to Senior Leadership, and mentoring other data & business analysts. Currently, they are the Head of Data & Analytics and Data Lead at Durcal.

Gerard Barrull obtained their Grado en Ingeniería de Tecnologías Industriales from Universitat Politécnica de Catalunya in 2011-2015. Gerard then pursued a Máster Univesitario en Tecnología Industrial at the same school from 2015-2017. In 2015, Gerard also attended INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon, where they obtained an Ingeniería degree in Gestión industrial/de ingeniería. In addition to their educational qualifications, Gerard also holds certifications from Nova Talent, ThePowerMBA, Cambridge Assessment English, and Google Actívate.
