Ashini Fernando

Ashini Fernando is currently a Trustee at DURHAM ACADEMY INC. Prior to that, they were a Guest Lecturer and Leader at Duke-NUS Medical School, where they developed and led the Career Development Program for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Ashini has also worked as a Staff Scientist at BD and as a Sr. Research Associate at Duke University Medical Centre. Ashini Fernando obtained their graduate degree from Duke University in 2000.

Ashini Fernando has a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a PhD in Pharmacology & Molecular Cancer Biology from Duke University, and a BA in Biochemistry from Mount Holyoke College.
