Amy Doyle

Relief Events Assistant at Durham Cathedral

Amy Doyle is currently the MCR Academic Officer and MCR Secretary at Hatfield College, Durham University. Amy also serves as the Conference Coordinator at Medieval and Early Modern Student Association (MEMSA) and Visitor Experience Assistant at Durham Cathedral. Previously, Amy worked as a Barista at Coffi Lab Ltd and Edinburgh University Students' Association. Amy has experience as a President of Welsh Society, Student Teacher, Social Secretary of Welsh Society, English Second Language Teacher, Bartender, and Sales Assistant. Amy holds a BA in English Literature and Classics from The University of Edinburgh, an MA in Medieval and Renaissance Literary Studies from Durham University, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Medieval Literature at Durham University.

Durham Cathedral

Durham Cathedral is a place of worship, pilgrimage and spirituality. As one of Britain's most iconic buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site we welcome thousands of visitors every year. Every day in the Cathedral is enriched with the Daily Offices of Morning and Evening Prayer (the latter being sung - i.e. Choral Evensong - most evenings) and at least one service of Holy Communion.
