Durham Cathedral
Durham Cathedral is a place of worship, pilgrimage and spirituality. As one of Britain's most iconic buildings and a UNESCO World Heritage Site we welcome thousands of visitors every year. Every day in the Cathedral is enriched with the Daily Offices of Morning and Evening Prayer (the latter being sung - i.e. Choral Evensong - most evenings) and at least one service of Holy Communion. We look forward to welcoming you as our guest at the Cathedral, whether you visit us to worship, to pray, to see the historic building or explore the long history of Christianity in the North East.
