Emma Carter

Emma Carter is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in education and graphic design. Currently serving as a Student Teacher at Durham Public Schools, Emma collaborates with the ELA team to instruct Honors English III and English II. As a Freelance Graphic Designer since July 2019, Emma has delivered a variety of design services for clients, including logo creation and home décor art. Previous roles include a Marketing Specialist at LS3P ASSOCIATES LTD., design positions at NC State University involving student media and alumni programs, and work as a barista at multiple coffee establishments. Emma holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from Duke University and two Bachelor’s degrees in English Creative Writing and Graphic Design from North Carolina State University.
