Phyllis Morrison is an experienced educator with a strong background in instructional design and technology integration. Currently serving as an educator for Liberty County School District since July 2021 and Durham Public Schools since 2010, Phyllis specializes in developing and implementing developmentally appropriate instruction for elementary students aligned with Common Core Standards. Prior roles include positions as a staff development specialist at Central Regional Hospital, education consultant at Pearson Digital Learning and Computer Curriculum Corporation, and various teaching roles in Durham Public Schools and Liberty County Board of Education. Phyllis holds a Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University and a Master’s degree in Educational Media from North Carolina Central University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Education from Georgia Southern University. Additionally, Phyllis has obtained certification in Christian Life Coaching.
